I Found This – The First Planetarium at Sea

I Found This

I Found This

As we flew into Boston Logan Airport, I spotted the Queen Mary 2 (QM2) at port. Designed by a team of British naval architects in 2003, she is the largest ocean liner ever built to date.

Annually every January, she departs on an 89 to 132 night world voyage. A bucket list for sure. (Why does my bucket list seem to be getting longer instead of shorter. I swear, I’m working on it!!)

Some of Queen Mary 2‘s facilities include fifteen restaurants and bars, five swimming pools, a casino, a ballroom, a theatre, and the first full-scale planetarium at sea where one can view the stars in galaxies far far away. Out of this world isn’t it? 😉

  1. When she was new, we took a short cruise on her to St. Thomas. We didn’t care where she was going. We just wanted to be aboard. Did it up right in the Queen’s Grill!
