She just loved getting her picture taken. I think I could have stayed there all day and she would have enjoyed it. You can find this beauty at Jungle Gardens.
My post on June 6th explains the rare opportunity I was presented with to do research with Mote Marine Laboratories staff and interns. One of the teenage interns had a camera in an underwater casing and jumped in the water numerous times to capture some of the rays we studied or saw that day. It’s always fun to see another photographer so passionate about getting the best possible photographs no matter the obstacles, weather or difficulty of the shot!
Before, during and after the storm…can’t you just feel the spirit of it?
Was lucky enough to go out with scientists and interns from Mote Marine to assist with their research on rays. We were on the lookout for spotted eagle ray, devil ray, The opportunity came about all due to my “little” of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Suncoast on our last adventure which was a kayak trip through the mangroves put on through a Mote intern. Amazing what good things come from good people doing really good things for others. I’m touched by the graciousness on this unbelievable adventure. Thank you to Kim and her oh so knowledgeable, fun and kind crew!
